Be content where you are. There is no need to keep up with the Jones’. Be content in Jesus.
Psalm 23:1 The Lord is my shepherd; I have all that I need.
Psalm 1:3 They are like trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit each season. Their leaves never wither, and they prosper in all they do.
Do not allow discontentment into your marriage. Don’t compare your spouse with others. Stay content.
Rejoice in The Lord always
Regardless of challenges, be content. Paul learnt to be content in all things. Being content is something you learn. Contentment in barrenness, and contentment in the stretch (Isaiah 54:1-2).
If you want to be content, be kind. Be thankful.
Cast all your cares on Him
All concerns once and for all. God cares for you.
Tell Him your need
Come before God in prayer. He will answer. Trust Him in everything.
Thank people. Count your blessings. Stop counting your whinges. Stop counting what you don’t have. Be inoffendable. Being thankful stops offense.
Experience His Peace
You will never find true peace or contentment outside Christ. Jesus has left a legacy of peace. He has given it to us (John 14:27 AMP). Now walk in that legacy.
Think, Say, Do
Think contentment, speak contentment, walk in contentment.
