Don’t Panic

1 John 4:17-18 This is how love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment: In this world we are like Jesus. There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.

Perfect love drives out fear. In Greek, Perfect Love is not talking about a feeling but it is one of the names of Jesus. Jesus is Perfect Love.
So often we strive to have perfect love but the Perfect Love we need is Jesus. Jesus drive away fear.
It is win-win for us. We don’t have punishment, we die we meet Jesus.

Romans 8:38-39 For I have every confidence that nothing—not death, life, heavenly messengers, dark spirits, the present, the future, spiritual powers, height, depth, nor any created thing—can come between us and the love of God revealed in the Anointed, Jesus our Lord.

What does Perfect Love do?
Abolish the devil’s ways.
Lions roar into the ground to let the family know they are protected and let the enemies know he is king.
Jesus – our Lion of the Tribe of Judah – does the same for us. He is here to protect us and He tells  the enemy He is still the King.
Speak Perfect Love over our community. Don’t be fearful to go into enemy territory. You have Perfect Love.
