If we bring our best first, God will bless the rest.

Matthew 6:33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

Seek His kingdom first.

Genesis 4:4 Abel also brought a gift—the best portions of the firstborn lambs from his flock. The Lord accepted Abel and his gift.

God is looking for first. Abel bought first and God accepted it.
It is not about being legalistic but it is a heart attitude.

Malachi 3:10 Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in my Temple. If you do,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, “I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won’t have enough room to take it in! Try it! Put me to the test!

Tithing is bringing what is already His.

Exodus 13:14 “And in the future, your children will ask you, ‘What does all this mean?’ Then you will tell them, ‘With the power of his mighty hand, the Lord brought us out of Egypt, the place of our slavery.

With God’s mighty hand He has brought you out. He wants to be number one in your life. Give to Him. Put Him first.
God gave His first so you and I could be blessed.
