Frame It Right

Proverbs 14:1 A wise woman builds her home, but a foolish woman tears it down with her own hands.

As mothers you don’t just build your home but the life of your husband and children.

Your enemy does not want you to build your house. He sets weapons against you and your family that will get you tearing it down with your own hands.

Hebrews 11:1-3 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good testimony. By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.

At creation God knew He had to frame the world with something. He looked and found nothing stronger or more powerful to frame the world with than His word, so He used that. The things we can see have been framed with the invisible Word of God.

We can choose to frame our world with the exact same material God used to frame the oceans, the planets, you and me.

Or not.

You have to be intentional when it comes to framing your house with the Word of God. It doesn’t just happen. You can’t wish it to happen. You have to make the choice.

Romans 4:18-5:5
V18 Abraham receives a Word from God and he makes it the framework for his household.
V19 Abraham faced the facts

Faith does not deny reality. Strong faith is when you deny the existence of the problem.

V20 He never wavered.

Faith is not a feeling.
Some live like faith is a feeling. God is good when things are good. God has abandoned me.

V3 In problems
Life isn’t perfect. You will run into problems. If the frame is right it develops endurance, strength, confident hope that will not lead to disappointment.

I pray for my children. I pray scripture.

Psalm 45:16 Your sons will take the place of your fathers; you will make them princes throughout the land.

Genesis 49:23-24 Archers attacked him savagely; they shot at him and harassed him. But his bow remained taut, and his arms were strengthened by the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, by the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel.

Isaiah 54:13 All your children shall be taught by the Lord, And great shall be the peace of your children.

They are the frame I have built for my family, my children.

V20 Abraham’s faith never weakened.
Really? He lied? He slept with his wife’s maid? Sarah laughed.

We all make mistakes as mums.

When God writes your story He will say, “Sarah never wavered in believing God’s promise.”

I’ve framed them with worry and yelling. But I framed them with divorce and broken relationships. But I framed them with doubt and negativity. But I framed them with abuse and poor decisions.

God doesn’t remember.

How are you going to frame your family today?

Frame your family with the Word of God because God is able to do what He promises. Whatever is in the frame, will come to pass. The invisible shapes the visible.
