3 John 1:2 Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.

You are a spirit, you possess a soul, you live in a body.

Genesis 2:7 Then the Lord God formed the man from the dust of the ground. He breathed the breath of life into the man’s nostrils, and the man became a living person.

There is a yearning to return to the Life-giver.

Genesis 2:9 The Lord God made all sorts of trees grow up from the ground—trees that were beautiful and that produced delicious fruit. In the middle of the garden he placed the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

Spend time in the garden. Let your soul be refreshed in nature. Take time to prosper your soul.

Genesis 2:15 The Lord God placed the man in the Garden of Eden to tend and watch over it.

God gave Adam a job. He gave responsibility. It’s important to serve. You need to contribute for your soul health. Work it.

Genesis 2:18 Then the Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper who is just right for him.”

Relationships are important for our soul health. For your soul to prosper you need intimacy. Who will we be friends with? Drop the walls.

Genesis 3:8 When the cool evening breezes were blowing, the man and his wife heard the Lord God walking about in the garden.

Spend time with God. Commune with Him. Don’t rely on second hand information. You go to God in person.

3 John 1:3 Some of the traveling teachers recently returned and made me very happy by telling me about your faithfulness and that you are living according to the truth.

Come back to the truth.
