Life Hack : a strategy or technique adopted in order to manage one’s time and daily activities in a more efficient way.

Heed the warning
Genesis 2:9, 15-17 The Lord God made all sorts of trees grow up from the ground—trees that were beautiful and that produced delicious fruit. In the middle of the garden he placed the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
The Lord God placed the man in the Garden of Eden to tend and watch over it. But the Lord God warned him, “You may freely eat the fruit of every tree in the garden— except the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. If you eat its fruit, you are sure to die.”

Genesis 3:6 The woman was convinced. She saw that the tree was beautiful and its fruit looked delicious, and she wanted the wisdom it would give her. So she took some of the fruit and ate it. Then she gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it, too.

The temptation did not look like an apple. God has put warnings in nature telling us to stay away.

1 Corinthians 10:13 The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure.

Why touch it when there are more beautiful things to touch?

Live out of the overflow
Psalm 23:5 You prepare a feast for me in the presence of my enemies. You honor me by anointing my head with oil. My cup overflows with blessings.

John 10:10 The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance to the full, till it overflows.

Psalms 45:1 NKJV My heart is overflowing with a good theme.

God wants our lives to overflow with blessing, enjoyment, and good themes.

Overflow is important.

Matthew 12:34 NKJV Brood of vipers! How can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.

It’s important because we speak out of overflow. The heart can’t hide long.

When we experience overflow we have a responsibility to do something with it.

Luke 6:38 Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full—pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back.”

The more you overflow, the more you overflow.

Isaiah 40:31 NLT But those who trust in the LORD will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.

How can you not be weary? Overflow.

I don’t burn out I over flow. I’m not stressed out I over flow.

Start to Finish

2 Kings 13:14-20

The prophet got angry because Jehoash didn’t start to finish.

How many things have you started but never finished? Piano lessons? Gym membership? Maintenance? Painting? Study?

Luke 14:28 “But don’t begin until you count the cost. For who would begin construction of a building without first calculating the cost to see if there is enough money to finish it?

Starting is easy.

In 2017, can you start to finish.

It’s going to get hard. You’ll want to give up. Things won’t work. Set backs. Frustrated. No motivation.

Start to finish.
