God loves you as much as He loves Jesus
John 17:23 I am in them and you are in me. May they experience such perfect unity that the world will know that you sent me and that you love them as much as you love me.
God’s love will calm all your fears
Zephaniah 3:17 For the Lord your God is living among you. He is a mighty savior. He will take delight in you with gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs.”
In a world of exaggeration, overreaction, freaking out and busyness it is hard to keep calm and carry on. The ultimate source of calm is the love of God. Others may take tablets, rescue remedy or meditate a mantra to generate calm, but true calm is found in the love of God.
Praying in tongues will keep you in God’s love
Jude 1:20-21 But you, dear friends, must build each other up in your most holy faith, pray in the power of the Holy Spirit, and await the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ, who will bring you eternal life. In this way, you will keep yourselves safe in God’s love.
You were loved by God before the world began
Ephesians 1:4 Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes.
Before you had done anything right or wrong, you were loved by God. Whether you were planned, an accident, wanted or unwanted, God loved you. Not only did He love you, but He chose you to be in Christ, united with Christ.
Being in Christ is a manifestation of God’s love
Ephesians 2:4-5 But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved.
Paul talks about what it means to be united with Christ. Being in Christ is a manifestation of God’s love. All the privileges of Christ are ours. Whatever belongs to Christ is yours.
Nothing can separate you from God’s love
Romans 8:38-39 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Nor anything else in all creation means nothing. God’s love is always there.
