Luke 3:16 John answered their questions by saying, “I baptize you with water; but someone is coming soon who is greater than I am—so much greater that I’m not even worthy to be his slave and untie the straps of his sandals. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire.

John 20:19-22 That Sunday evening the disciples were meeting behind locked doors because they were afraid of the Jewish leaders. Suddenly, Jesus was standing there among them! “Peace be with you,” he said. As he spoke, he showed them the wounds in his hands and his side. They were filled with joy when they saw the Lord! Again he said, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I am sending you.” Then he breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit.”

Before you were born again you were filled with fear. Then the first disciples confessed Him as Lord. Then they were sent. Lastly, Jesus told them to receive the Holy Spirit.

Luke 24:49 “And now I will send the Holy Spirit, just as my Father promised. But stay here in the city until the Holy Spirit comes and fills you with power from heaven.”

When you are saved you receive the Holy Spirit within you, but there is another power that will come upon you.

Are you equipped with power? Are you equipped with the baptism of the Holy Spirit?

Acts 1:5 John baptized with water, but in just a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.

Acts 19:6 Then when Paul laid his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they spoke in other tongues and prophesied.

You aren’t the only tongue talker. There are many. New Testament believers were tongue talkers.

When you pray in tongues you pray through your future. You build yourself up. Tongues is part of the armour of God. Tongues is the doorway of manifestations of the supernatural.
