Refuel

Be purposeful and refuel for 2015.

Mark 6:31 Then Jesus said, “Let’s go off by ourselves to a quiet place and rest awhile.”

The disciples had been giving out, preaching, ministering. Jesus told them to come and rest. But the needs remained, and the disciples did not rest.

When Jesus said, “You feed the people,” they were empty.

You can only give what you’ve got.

There is a miracle for you to walk into, but if you are empty, it won’t happen.

So what does it mean to come away with Jesus?

1. Be purposeful and set aside time.

2. Prepare your heart to produce fruit. (Mark 4:14-20)

3. Don’t be worried by all the things you have to do or want to get.

Mark 4:18, 20 “The seed cast in the weeds represents the ones who hear the kingdom news but are overwhelmed with worries about all the things they have to do and all the things they want to get. The stress strangles what they heard, and nothing comes of it. “But the seed planted in the good earth represents those who hear the Word, embrace it, and produce a harvest beyond their wildest dreams.”

4. Build yourself up by speaking in tongues.

Jude 1:20 But you, dear friends, must build each other up in your most holy faith, pray in the power of the Holy Spirit
