The Glorious House

Build something glorious. You are my glorious church in Browns Plains.

We are a glorious generational church.

Build the House

Joshua 24:15 But if you refuse to serve the Lord, then choose today whom you will serve. Would you prefer the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates? Or will it be the gods of the Amorites in whose land you now live? But as for me and my family, we will serve the Lord.

Defend the House

Matthew 20:18 Now I say to you that you are Peter (which means ‘rock’), and upon this rock I will build my church, and all the powers of hell will not conquer it.

We defend the house and we defend each other.

Expand the House

We are building the house so it comes to life for the world to come into.

The church is life.

1 Peter 2:9-10 But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light. “Once you had no identity as a people; now you are God’s people. Once you received no mercy; now you have received God’s mercy.

William Carey – “Expect great things from God. Attempt great things for God.”

Our children need to be fed otherwise their families will fly away.

It is not about being inclusive, it is about belonging. People want to be inclusive but it is a consumer attitude. Belonging is different.

If you want to be blessed, belong here.

God wants to remodel our perspective. The kingdom is here.

Isaiah 54: 2-3 Enlarge your house; build an addition. Spread out your home, and spare no expense! For you will soon be bursting at the seams. Your descendants will occupy other nations and resettle the ruined cities.
