Luke 24:49 “And now I will send the Holy Spirit, just as my Father promised. But stay here in the city until the Holy Spirit comes and fills you with power from heaven.”

Acts 1:4-5 Once when he was eating with them, he commanded them, “Do not leave Jerusalem until the Father sends you the gift he promised, as I told you before. John baptized with water, but in just a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.”

We shouldn’t leave home without the Holy Spirit.

Mark 16:17 These miraculous signs will accompany those who believe: They will cast out demons in my name, and they will speak in new languages.

Speaking in new languages is a language never existed before.

However some of us do leave home without the Holy Spirit and speaking in tongues.

God told Joshua to keep the law in his mouth. The law was given at the first Pentecost. At the second Pentecost we received the Holy Spirit. What should we keep on our lips? Tongues.

I’m not leaving home without speaking in tongues.

Ephesians 6:17 Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

The sword of the Spirit is the rhema word of God, that is, a revelation. The sword will work when you have a revelation of what God is saying to you. The devil has no answer to a rhema word. The Holy Spirit will give us this rhema, this sword, to use offensively.

Ephesians 6:18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints

How do you wield the sword of the Spirit? By the channel of praying in tongues.

When the enemy tells us it won’t happen, it’s time to give up, the weapon we can use against him is tongues, we receive rhema and the enemy is defeated.

How do you receive victory? Pray in tongues and receive revelation.
