The Power of Together

Ephesians 3:6 This mystery is that through the gospel the Gentiles are heirs together with Israel, members together of one body, and sharers together in the promise in Christ Jesus. 


You are too small a vessel for God to pour all His glorious riches. God pours them into us because we need each other. If everything is not poured in to me then I don’t need you. 


Ephesians 3:20-21 Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.  

This promise is not for an individual. It is for a collective. 


A body of 40 trillion cells. Every cell has the potential to be any other part of the body. Instead they make a cohesive identity. 
But when we are working together, we propel one another toward our destiny. Because you’ve got skills I don’t have. 


Acts 2:44 And all the believers met together in one place and shared everything they had.  

Together we share. Christmas hampers. 49ers. CAP training. Play date. Coffee shop. ShineGIRL Graduation. We share with the community as we share with one another. 

Heart of the house is a time when together we share. If you have never given to heart of the house, give. It is what we do together. As we share together, I believe God is going to do far over and above all we ask or imagine as a church and as individuals.
