What can I learn from my ANZAC forefathers?

2 Timothy 2:3 Endure suffering along with me, as a good soldier of Christ Jesus.

What can I learn from my ANZAC forefathers?
Courage
It will take courage to stand for the Lord in the last days. It will take courage to stay married.
Courage is not the absences of fear but the ability to stick with it.

Deuteronomy 20:3-4 He will say to them, ‘Listen to me, all you men of Israel! Do not be afraid as you go out to fight your enemies today! Do not lose heart or panic or tremble before them. For the Lord your God is going with you! He will fight for you against your enemies, and he will give you victory!’

Mateship
Relationship deficit. Our society does not lay down their life for another. Is the level of Mateship the same in the church as in the military? If you don’t have a friend who will lay down their life for you then be that kind of friend. Mateship goes beyond the grave.

John 15:13 There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.
